CALLING ALL COSPLAYERS!
If you are attending ARC WORLD TOUR FINALS on DAY 2(March 22,2025), we would love to see you enter our cosplay contest! Below you will find details as to rules, prizing and timing of the competition. Please read the details below and we hope to see you at AWT2024!
REGISTRATION DETAILS:
Registration for the ARC WORLD TOUR FINALS 2024 Cosplay Contest will only be available in person on DAY 2 of AWT2024! Make sure to read the schedule below in order to make sure you are entered and ready for the show!
RULES
GENERAL RULES
- Must have a valid ticket to Arc World Tour Finals to enter.
- Only cosplays from Arc System Works related IPs will be accepted for this event.
- All types of cosplays are welcome, you do not need to have made your whole costume to participate. Costumes can be made from scratch, store bought, or altered purchases. We encourage everyone to enter!
- To qualify for the Top Prize, contestants must have made a majority of their costume. Assistance is allowed.
- No live steel, no real functioning weapons or projectiles on stage.
- This includes but is not limited to: Knives, Blades, Functioning Prop Firearms, Potentially Dangerous Blunt Objects etc.
- Rulings for allowed props on stage will be handled at the judges’ discretion
- Costumes must securely be attached to you at all times. Please make sure pieces of your costume cannot fall off to create unintended situations or discomforts for yourself or others.
STAGE RULES
- Please be mindful of the stage and equipment.
- Do not try to get on or off the stage in any manner beyond proper stairs, as designated by the event. (ex: do not climb onto or jump off the stage)
- Please do not surprise Contest organizers with any performance or action on stage for safety purposes.
- Please be mindful of language use on stage. This is an all ages event.
SCHEDULE

SIGN UP AND JUDGING SCHEDULE BREAKDOWN:
- Doors Open: 9:30AM
- First Round of Registration & Judging: 11:00AM – 12:00PM
- Location: Crunchy Roll Lounge in Shrine Expo Hall – located next to the Polar Star Coffee Area
- Must show up in cosplay in order to be entered and judged
- Must fill out entry form provided by judging staff in order to be entered into the contest
- Location: Crunchy Roll Lounge in Shrine Expo Hall – located next to the Polar Star Coffee Area
- Second Round of Registration & Judging: 1:00PM – 2:00PM
- Location: Crunchy Roll Lounge in Shrine Expo Hall – located next to the Polar Star Coffee Area
- Must show up in cosplay in order to be entered and judged
- Must fill out entry form provided by judging staff in order to be entered into the contest
- Location: Crunchy Roll Lounge in Shrine Expo Hall – located next to the Polar Star Coffee Area
STAGE SCHEDULE BREAKDOWN:
- All cosplayers entered into the Cosplay Contest should be at the Side Stage to be prepped and organized by staff at 2:30PM
- Locations: Expo Hall Side Stage – located next to the HUNTERxHUNTER NENxIMPACT Demo Stations
- Must show up in cosplay and ready to present on stage
- Entrants who are NOT PRESENT by 3PM will be disqualified from the contest
- Locations: Expo Hall Side Stage – located next to the HUNTERxHUNTER NENxIMPACT Demo Stations
- Stage Presentation starts at 3PM PDT
- Contestants will be introduced guided on stage 1 by 1 in order to present their cosplays
- After all contestants have presented themselves on stage, judges will begin the award ceremony and prize distribution.

AWARDS & PRIZING
AWARD CEREMONY:
- Awards will be presented to the cosplays that best fit the categories given:
- ARC WORLD TOUR COSPLAY CHAMPION
- The cream of the crop of the entries to the cosplay contest!
- BEST CHARACTERIZATION
- The cosplay/cosplayer that best portrays their character!
- CREATIVE AWARD
- Most creative cosplay by judges’ discretion.
- PASSION AWARD
- The cosplay/cosplayer that brought the most energy to AWT!
- BEST PROP
- The cosplay/cosplayer who went the extra mile for their prop!
- CROWD FAVORITE
- The cosplay that got the crowd hyped!
- ARC WORLD TOUR COSPLAY CHAMPION
- After prizes are presented on stage, all entrants will be asked to gather for a group photo to commemorate this event.
- Award winners will be asked to stay after the ceremony has finished for individual photos.
