The Contest is sponsored by Arc System Works USA (“Sponsor”) and administered by Strangely Compelling Multimedia, Inc. (“Administrator”).

 

This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook or Twitter. You understand that any posting by you made on the social media websites Facebook and/or Twitter shall be publicly available on Facebook’s and/or Twitter’s website. Any additional personal information that you are requested to provide to Arc System Works USA as a participant or winner of the Contest shall be controlled and processed by the Sponsor or Administrator. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Contest must be directed to Arc System Works and not to Facebook or Twitter.

 

Eligibility: The Contest is open only to individuals who are residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry (or over the age of majority in entrant’s state or province of residence). Directors, officers, and employees of Sponsor, and any of its respective affiliate companies, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, and advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate families of each are not eligible to win any prizes.

 

Contest Period: The Contest runs from, July 17, 2019 at 12am PT midnight through July 24, 2019 at 12am PT midnight (all times in these Official Rules are Pacific Time).

How to Enter: Limit one entry per person during the Entry Period. To enter, you must first be logged in as a registered user of Facebook or Twitter.

 

If you do not have a Facebook account, create your free account at www.facebook.com. Message, data rates or other charges may apply if you are participating via the use of a smart mobile device; check your mobile plan for rates and details. Participation may not be available on all carriers. You must adhere to any rules and policies of Facebook when using your Facebook Account and entering any Contest. Facebook may take action against any entrants who violate its policies. The Sponsor or Administrator takes no responsibility for the actions of Facebook, the Facebook site or the Facebook Account used by participants.

While you are logged in to your Facebook or Twitter user account, you can enter the Contest by responding to the Sponsor’s tweet or Facebook post about the Contest. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person, and you may only submit one (1) artwork, photo or video displaying your fandom of World End Syndrome per entry. Past winners of any previous contests from this year may not re-use the same entries to enter again. Anyone found to use multiple accounts to enter will be disqualified and ineligible win a prize.

 

Entries containing lewd, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate content, such as but not limited to profanity, nudity, excessively amorous behavior and/or vulgar gestures will be rejected in the Sponsor’s or Administrator’s sole discretion. Any images submitted that depict illegal or criminal behaviors or activities will be rejected in the Sponsor’s or Administrator’s sole discretion and will immediately be provided to appropriate law enforcement officials, along with any information pertaining to said entrants. Submissions must be made by the person depicted in the submitted images. Anyone making a submission that is found to be of someone other than the submitter will be disqualified and barred from all further instances of the Contest. Any entrant who is not eligible for the Contest can be disqualified in the Sponsor’s or Administrator’s sole discretion.

 

It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that they have permission to publicly display all objects or persons in their submission. Any entry, which does not comply with the official rules as stated, may be deemed invalid at the sole discretion of the Sponsor or Administrator.

 

General Guidelines: All submissions must adhere to the following guidelines:

 

  • Your Entry must be suitable for general audiences and not be offensive, obscene, or illegal, or violate the rights of others. In addition, your Entry must not violate any policies or terms of Facebook or Twitter.
  • Any statements, remarks, claims or opinions contained or depicted in your Entry must express your honest views, opinions, findings, beliefs, and experiences.

 

Selection of Winners: On or about July 25, 2019, Administrator will select one (5) winners from all eligible entries received by Sponsor.

 

All entries will be reviewed by a panel of reviewers composed of Sponsor or Administrator employees and a winner will be selected based on the following judging criteria:

 

  • Quality of entry (50%)
  • Creativity and originality (25%)
  • Overall impression (25%)

 

The potential winners will be notified by direct message on or about July 25, 2019. To claim a prize, the potential winners must follow the instructions contained in the notification and respond within two (2) days. After verification of the entrant’s eligibility, such entrant will be awarded a prize, as set forth below.

 

Prize:

 

(a)    Five (5) winners selected by Administrator will receive one (1) World End Syndrome messenger bag (ARV $29.99), five (5) assorted World End Syndrome keychains (ARV $49.99), and a variety of World End Syndrome paper goods selected by the Administrator’s discretion (ARV $0.99). Total ARV: $80.97.

 

Total ARV of all prizes: $404.85

 

ARVs are accurate as of the date of publication but may be subject to change. Any difference between the ARV and the actual value of any Prize will not be paid to Winner. 

 

(b)    Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. Prize not claimed within two (2) days after delivery of notification may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) of any prizes will be permitted, except that Sponsor and Administrator reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for any prize. Prize may not be transferred to any other person. Limit one prize per household or address. The prize is awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). ALL FEDERAL, STATE, PROVINCIAL AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.

 

Identity of Entrant: In the event of a dispute about the identity of the entrant, Sponsor or Administrator may declare an entry to have been made by the authorized Twitter account holder of the username submitted at the time of entry. An authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned to a username by Twitter. The potential winner may be required to provide Sponsor or Administrator with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the username associated with the winning entry.

 

Entrant’s Personal Information: Information collected from each entrant is subject to the Arc System Works USA privacy policy at https://post-export-edited.agacdntest.com/privacy-policy.

Additional Terms and Conditions: The Contest and these Official Rules will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the State of California, USA. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws and is void where prohibited. Any provision of these Official Rules deemed unenforceable will be enforced to the extent permissible, and the remainder of these Official Rules will remain in effect. Sponsor and Administrator shall not be responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete, damaged or misdirected entries and accept no responsibility for any injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from an entrant’s participation in this Contest. Sponsor and Administrator reserve the right to amend these Official Rules or to terminate this Contest. By entering the Contest, you release Sponsor and Administrator from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contest or delivery, misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use the prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses, and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory. Except where prohibited by law and subject to the applicable Arc System Works USA privacy policy, entry into the Contest constitutes permission to use entrant’s name, city, and state/province of residence, likeness and prize information, without limitation, for Sponsor’s promotional purposes without further permission or compensation. Without limiting the foregoing, entrant understands and agrees that Sponsor may use (and may allow third parties to use) your Entry, including photos on websites, Social Media pages, advertisements, and other promotional materials. Entrant’s grant of the foregoing permission is perpetual and may not be revoked by the entrant. As a condition of being awarded a prize, winners may be required to confirm such permission in writing and execute and deliver a written affidavit of eligibility, acceptance of these Official Rules, and tax forms, and winners will be required to execute and deliver a release of liability, a photo/video of consent and publicity release, and other documentation. By entering, entrants certify that they have complied with these Official Rules and are eligible to win.
